Rainy day blues.

5am and it’s onshore and pouring rain. All night long it bucketed down helping my sleep and at the same time keeping me awake. The waves were messy and a slight angle change from yesterday seemed to throw off my planned morning surf immensely. Back to bed to be awoken by my mate Mike at 7.30. Still raining I lay around for an hour thinking the wind was stronger and more from the east. The fresh breeze coming through my window suddenly dawned on me and I bolted to the corner. 3 ft a frames and it was offshore!!! If isn’t even have my camera as it was a light drizzle. Straight out there. So fun again but being a Sunday and at this time of year it was crowded. It was very kool to have a wave with heaps of mates and especially young Fletch. Even though he blew the wave if the day!! I’m looking forwArd to the morning. It could be smoking!!
