Its point time!
The easterly swell kicked a extra foot this morning and those who were onto it at the beachie and at the alley were rewarded. Low tide early and the shallow sand out front was perfect for the 4-5ft of thumpers rolling in from a really unsettled system hovering all up the east coast. It poured with rain last night and some parts of the coast go 210mm overnight. They are still watching the low up north to see what it does and whether it turns into our first cyclone.
The alley’s sand is back and the bank is looking good. Just the current is mental so bring your arms and also if your jumping off the front it’s dangerous at the moment so be careful.
The points down Sth should be smoking in the morning and if you paddle out a few minutes before dark you should get a couple before the rest of the surfing world here on the coast turn up. Rock on!
